Kyoei's flagship cavity back — built to close the gap between a forged blade's feel and a cavity back's forgiveness.

The KK CB traces back to the 2021 Handmade Limited iron, a prototype built from traditional heavier blank forgings with pressed grooves. Two years and tens of thousands of test swings later, this retail release refines that original shape and center-of-gravity placement to a specific height and depth for each individual club in the set — not a single CG profile scaled across the range. Kyoei benchmarked the shape against several top-rated forged players' irons from competing brands before settling on this geometry.

Like the rest of the lineup, the KK CB carries Kyoei's evolved 5-Cut sole grind — versatile enough to play well for both sweepers and diggers, and the most refined version of a sole design the brand has been testing for years. Compared to the Dual Weight II, the KK CB shares a similar sole width but runs slightly less bounce, with a topline 0.5mm thinner — a meaningfully more compact profile for players who want forgiveness without the visual bulk.

Each head is single-piece forged, delivering the soft, dense feel forged irons are known for at impact, with CNC-milled face and grooves for consistent spin and a flat-face guarantee that pressed grooves can't match. Lofts run 1–2° stronger than traditional players' irons (PW at 44°), trading a small amount of traditional loft for extra distance without pushing the set into game-improvement territory. Offset stays lower than most cavity backs on the market — geared toward scratch-to-mid-handicap players who want a forged iron's workability with real forgiveness built in.
