Takumi Japan KCB Irons — Left Hand (4–PW, 7 pieces)
The Iron That Shouldn't Exist. In the Hand You Deserve.
Left-handed golfers know the feeling: the iron you actually want simply doesn't come in your hand. The Takumi Japan KCB Left Hand changes that — and it does it without compromise.
This is the KCB: the largest volume head Takumi Japan has ever forged, paired with their thinnest topline. On paper, those two things shouldn't coexist. In your hands, they feel like the only way it could have been designed. The result is a club that looks like a blade at address and plays like a forgiving players iron everywhere else.
Looks Like a Blade. Plays Like an Upgrade.
The KCB's deceptively thin topline gives you the clean, confident setup of a classic Japanese iron — the kind that makes you stand a little taller over the ball. But behind that minimal profile sits a higher-volume head with a genuinely enlarged sweet spot and elevated MOI. Off-centre strikes hold their line. Mishits stay in play. You get honesty from the centre and forgiveness everywhere else.
Forged in Ichikawa. Finished by Hand.
Takumi Japan is the house brand of Kyoei Golf, one of Japan's oldest and most revered forging factories, founded in the 1960s. Every design comes personally from Keisuke Sakamoto — president of KYOEI — and production involves up to 80 individual process steps, most of which can only be carried out by a master craftsman.
The KCB is forged from premium S25C soft carbon steel. The compound forging process is modern; the hand-finishing that follows is anything but. What you receive is a head that earns its price before it even touches a shaft.
True Lofts. No Tricks.
The KCB is true-lofted — a deliberate stance against the trend of artificially strengthened lofts that inflate distance numbers while robbing you of gap management and spin control. What the loft card says is what you get. Your distances will be honest, your gaps will be consistent, and your short game will thank you.
